AN INTERESTING REGISTERED MAIL CHOP

Illustrated is an interesting postal chop applied to a registered letter from Kaohsiung to Taipei in Taiwan. It was mailed on October 24, 1972 and arrived on October 25, 1972, this being a national holiday. The chop translates to:: Sunday and holiday, no one to receive – try again next day.
