INTERESTING POSTAL CHOP
Ai Li-shan
This interesting chop was applied to a letter that only gave the address of the sending company, not the name of the individual. The letter was mailed in 1966, but the month and date is not clear. It translates to: “Sender please write your name and address, and the recipient’s name and address to speed delivery”. This was necessary in case the letter had to be returned to the sender. The chop was on the back of the cover.
